I think this is probably a compilation called '7 Hills Clash - Signals From
The Sheffield Underground'. It's a decent release - features 4 little Sheff
labels (Earth, Breakbutt, Wholesome and 10 Denk) and a load of different
acts. Predominant drum+bass feel but all mixed up with a helping of that
clonking Sheffield sound. If anyone wants a bit more detailed info on
tracks and stuff, e-mail me personally and I'll see what I can do.
And kind of on the subject of Sheff... does anyone know if it's true that
LFO wanted to remix old Human League stuff, but Phil Oakey didn't like the
idea? Sounds cool to me......
